Blogger Life: Spend the Morning with Me

May 29, 2018

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and The J.M. Smucker Company, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #1850Coffee #1850CoffeeatTarget http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

A large handful of my friends and family are curious what a day in the life of a blogger looks like.

Are you too?

If I’m being totally honest, each day looks somewhat different.

Some days you’ll find me cruising around town exploring and crouching in an awkward position to get the perfect shot; others I’ll be in my pajamas typing away the thoughts that never seem to stop pouring out of my head.

Today, I woke up bright and early, ready to get more work done than usual after a long Memorial Day weekend.

My husband drops my son off at school on his way to work, so I take full advantage of some quiet time to plan and focus on the day to come.

The first step I take is to make a strong cup of coffee. I’m such a coffee fanatic that I actually drink decaf at night because I crave the taste of it.

Can’t stop, won’t stop.

From there, I read for a bit while slowly waking up with my hot coffee.

It’s a serious perk of the job!

Moving onto missed messages, I check my notifications and respond to DMs, emails, and phone calls.

There are two types of people: 38,549 unread messages or inbox zero. I will likely never be anything other than the latter.

It makes me feel electric when I’ve cleared out all emails.

Then it’s time to check out my calendar to see what’s on the agenda for the day, week, and month to come.

Bloggers run by deadlines, and most content can’t be done completely on the fly — at least not without a bit of planning.

Today I’ll be taking two sets of photos, writing one new post, and then taking my cat to the vet because it’s not all creativity, it’s real life too.

Another important part of my routine?

Almost every day I make one bold choice that will, hopefully, further improve my corner of the internet. It could be reaching out to my dream brand, signing up for a networking event, or connecting with another influencer that I admire — I’m constantly on a quest to do better and make myself and my family proud.

Bold choices aren’t possible without that first decision of the morning: which coffee is going to power my body and my mind!

We buy a lot of coffee. It’s actually kind of unreal.

I had the opportunity to try out a new premium coffee from the makers of Folgers called 1850 Brand Coffee before the product launched and it’s been a staple on my shopping list ever since.

In 1850, J.A. Folger forged a new path to help prospectors seeking fortune. It’s beyond inspiring to think about innovators like Folger who is — 168 years later! — still a household name.

Talk about kindling for daily inspiration!

1850 Brand Coffee is available in both ground and K-Cup options with four signature blends:

  • Black Gold — a dark roast with a sweet dark cocoa flavor
  • Lantern Glow — a light roast with bright citrus undertones
  • Pioneer Blend — a medium roast with a roasted nut flavor
  • Trailblazer — a medium-dark roast with a roasted nut and caramelized flavor

All beans used in these blends are fire-roasted to bring out rich taste and aroma, delivering a bold yet smooth taste. Since they’re evenly roasted, you’ll find each cup to be less bitter yet still powerful with coffee shop strength.

Good news! 1850 Brand Coffee is now available at Target.

Visit Target from 5/20 — 6/30 and take 20% off any 1850 Brand Coffee Product with the Target Cartwheel Coupon (while supplies last).

I also have the inside scoop that you’ll soon be able to grab a ready-to-drink bottle of Mocha, Sweet Cream, or Vanilla iced coffee if quick and cold is your thing.

Which roast do you want to try first?
