Bucket List: Picnicking at the Hollywood Bowl

July 9, 2017

This post is sponsored by Lorissa's Kitchen but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

I’m slowly but surely crossing off a few items on my summer bucket list. Tonight’s adventure? The Hollywood Bowl!

I had marked “interested” in seeing Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on Facebook, and my sweet friend Suzie who runs the blog HappyMess MOMents, asked if I’d like to come along with her! We got to take in one of my favorite Harry Potter movies in high definition on the big screen backed by LA Philharmonic, who performed the entire John Williams score.

It was SO. COOL.

If you’re not already familiar with the Hollywood Bowl, you may not know that part of the experience is being able to picnic before the main event. You’re allowed to bring homemade dishes, wine, snacks, and desserts to enjoy in your seats or at a picnic area on the property. It’s the quintessential summer activity to participate in here in Los Angeles, and I cannot believe it took me so long to go!

All of the ladies that went grabbed a few items to pass and share, so I wanted to bring a good selection for everyone to snack on too!

To sum it up, berries, Lorissa’s Kitchen meat snacks, hummus, feta dip, veggie chips, and veggies, plus peaches from the backyard.

Ever since I got these Lorissa’s Kitchen snacks for Fox, we’ve been eating them faster than we can buy them. Tyler even keeps some in his car 😉 These snacks are 100% grass-fed beef and responsibly-raised, antibiotic free chicken and pork, and 11 grams of protein per serving! I love that there is no preservatives or gluten.

What’s next to cross off on your summer bucket list?
