Eggnog French Toast Casserole



  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cut bread into 1-inch thick slices and lay out on baking sheet, lightly toasting until golden brown.
  3. Butter one side of each piece of toast. Tear buttered toast into 1-inch pieces and create on layer in greased 9x13 baking dish.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk eggnog, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt together.
  5. Pour mixture over bread, gently using your hands to make sure most liquid is absorbed.
  6. Cover dish and refrigerate 1 hour or overnight.
  7. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  8. Bake for roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour until bread is lightly toasted.
  9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
