I love our backyard, especially this time of year. We bought a table in the spring that we find ourselves circling around each night, whether we’re eating dinner, playing games, or watching Fox paint. 

The leaves have started to fall on our beloved table, which makes me feel closer to the season since Los Angeles isn’t exactly a prime autumn weather spot.

We’re preparing for the upcoming holidays, including one of my favorites:

Halloween!

This year is extra exciting because Fox is really getting into the idea of decorating and understanding that pumpkins and ghosts are things that symbolize Halloween, so we’ve already brought out all the spiderwebs, window decals, and gourds that our little home can handle.

But first thing is first — all of the Halloween treats!

We made use of our backyard table yet again to make these cute little pumpkin cookie sandwiches. Simply make Pillsbury Ready to Bake!™ Pumpkin Shape™ Sugar Cookies, frost the backside of one, and press together. Just add sprinkles!

Each box comes with 24 cookies, which only take 10 minutes per dozen cookies to bake. Super simple!

These also make great gifts to bring to the neighbors or your child’s teacher to celebrate the season.
