#SmartAsAMother Evivo Health Event

July 30, 2017

This post is sponsored by Evivo, but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Yesterday I mentioned that I would be talking about an event I recently attended and I’m here to spill the details!

A couple weeks ago a great group of mamas and medical professionals gathered at Au Fudge (Jessica Biel’s adorable restaurant!) in West Hollywood to talk about feeding baby. There we learned about a new product that just hit the market called Evivo — a daily probiotic for babies that restore the levels of B. infantis in baby’s gut over a delicious lunch and much welcomed mimosas.

It’s timely that we talk about this helpful new item (that’s classified as food, btw) with it being World Breastfeeding Week Aug. 1 – 7.

The event itself was stunning with great speakers including Pediatrician and Best Selling American Academy of Pediatrics Parenting Book Author Dr. Tanya Attman, MD, Evivo Nutritional Scientist and Baby Gut Expert Dr. Tracy Shafizadeh, PhD, and breastfeeding mommy and blogger Vanessa Barnett of Stilettos + SippyCups. I even walked away after winning one of the incredibly generous raffle prizes (my first raffle win ever!) that including Dr. Attman’s book, a Ju-Ju-Be diaper bag I’ve been drooling over for actual years, and many other supplies for baby and mama.

Fox met some new friends in the playroom while we learned eye opening facts like this gem: babies that are born in the US do not have healthier gut bacteria than babies born in developing countries. US born babies are missing B. infantis due to three modern medical practices: unintentional consequences of antibiotics, C-sections performed, and more babies being given formula before six months.

In the spirit of being authentic, I have to acknowledge that whenever I talk about breastfeeding it makes me a bit sad as my road to breastfeeding with Fox was not a success. After seeing three different lactation consultants I was finally told it was time to give it up, which still crushes me to this day.

I did, however, exclusively pump for some time which works just as well with Evivo probiotics that work hard to create a healthy metabolism and immune system for baby. Some of the bacterias Evivo defends against are linked to ailments such as eczema, allergies, diabetes, and obesity.

In order to administer, simply pour Evivo into included mixing bowl and stir in 3-5 ml of breast milk. Feed to your baby with syringe or fingers and reap the benefits!

If you’re interested in using this amazing product to benefit your own baby’s health, use promo code ev7-tc726te2 for $10 off an Evivo Probiotics Starter Kit of 4 weeks or more! Only the first 50 readers will receive this special offer, so don’t miss out.
