About three weeks ago, Fox started dancing around the house and he’s barely stopped to eat or sleep.
This dancing machine started when he first heard Gangnam Style in the credits of The Nut Job, and he would specifically request that movie knowing he’d get to watch a cool movie and end it with a dance party!
It’s been on repeat in our house.
Fast forward to last weekend when our family had the pleasure of witnessing the incredible women behind The Moms interview several of the cast members of the recently released sequel, The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature! Bobby Moynihan, Gabriel Iglesias, Maya Rudolph, and Will Arnett were all on hand to answer questions about their latest film and the laughs did not stop rolling once everyone entered the room.
No joke, I think Fox recognized Bobby Moynihan’s voice since he’s obsessed with a couple movies/shows he does voices in.
Just look at his face!
It was so fun to hear about the cast members own experiences as parents — Bobby’s daughter turned 3 weeks old the day of the press conference, so when Maya described her parenting style as old-school, Bobby described his as new 😉
Here’s why we love what we do….We get to bring moms and families together. It’s that simple. To laugh, to watch a movie, to escape, to learn, to engage, to grow, and to sometimes meet your favorite stars.⭐️Our faces actually hurt from laughing so hard today with the cast of @thenutjobmovie How can you not laugh with Will Arnett, Maya Rudolph, Bobby Moynihan and Gabriel Iglesias. You will have to click the link in bio for the full Mamarazzi event and interview. Trust us you will laugh and what is better that that! We❤️You LA. And now back to our regular scheduled programming. That would be Mommy’ing. #NutJobMoms #WillArnett #MayaRudolph #BobbyMoynihan #gabrieliglasias 🥜
After the press conference, we headed across the street to the cinema for the world premiere. Before we stepped foot inside, we were met with the sweetest little pugs — just like Precious, played by Maya Rudolph! Fox had a blast petting them and giving them smooches and couldn’t have been more excited for popcorn and treats.
He was able to sit with his buddies and laughed, danced, and yelled along with the characters, feeling their emotions each step of the way.
This film made it easy to begin to teach Fox about how important it is to respect nature and all of this earth’s inhabitants, whether they’re human or furry.
Thanks to my friend Happy Mess MOMents for connecting me with this super cute event!
