What's In My Bag: In-Flight with a Toddler Edition - The February Fox
Fox is generally a really good flyer, but it doesn’t come with ease. As parents, we know that traveling on the plane with an active toddler isn’t going to be a cakewalk, but we do have tricks to make it more comfortable for the entire family (and seatmates). Instead of a cute diaper bag or purse, I opt for a backpack with a divider to keep things organized. Front pocket: Pacifiers, medication, birth certificate, passport Inside pocket #1: Coloring books, crayons, talking toy, Magic Writer, Play-Doh, action figure, iPad Inside pocket #2*: Fruit crushers, Gerber Lil’ Beanies, cheese slices, dried fruit, straws Top it all off with a travel pillow and blanket scarf (this can triple as cool weather wear, a picnic blanket, and a baby blanket) on top and voila! *Pro tip: Put everything from inside pocket #2 in large, clear Ziploc bags and remove at security to put in a separate bin. You’ll save a lot of time and your toddler may hold onto patience longer 😉 Obviously the toys and coloring books are helpful, but the snacks we cannot do without.
