Baked Watermelon Radish Chips - The February Fox
Something that has helped me tremendously throughout my weight loss journey is remembering that snacking is GOOD! I know that when I wait too long between meals or don’t eat enough to feel full that it sets me up on a collision course for overeating. That said, it’s still important to eat healthy foods and, as with everything, moderation is key. Instead of buying bags of chips and other greasy (albeit delicious) noms, I decided to make some baked chips right in the comfort of my own home. I had groceries delivered from Milk & Eggs earlier in the week and had taken a chance on watermelon radishes while they’re still in season. Truth be told, I had no idea what to do with them — I only bought them because they “look pretty” and .99 cents a piece the price is oh so right. Fox asked to have his photo taken with the radish, because of course he did, as well as a purple turnip that we plan to turn into chips at a later date.
