Carrying On a Footwear Tradition This Mother’s Day

April 27, 2020

This post was sponsored by Reebok as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

One of my favorite things about being a mom is getting to relive my youth through my children’s eyes.

Kids are so magical!

There’s nothing like seeing their eyes light up during their first trip to the zoo or filling up their pencil box for the first day of Kindergarten.

I remember elementary school gym class where we had to bring our own clothes, sneakers, and my first stick of baby powder-scented Teen Spirit deodorant to keep in the locker room. Reebok’s were all the rage then and 20-some odd years later, they still very much are!

Fox has never really had a good pair of kicks until recently when I snagged these snazzy red ones from Kohl’s. I felt he need them since he’s been more active these days on his bike and in the backyard.

Then I decided to get myself a pair too since I need to keep up with him somehow!

The pair I picked up are from the Reebok Harman Run collection, available online at Kohl’s, one of my favorite stores to shop at for sheer convenience and dependability. They are cloud-comfortable and uber stylish — the kind of sneakers that can take you from a bike path jaunt to a grocery store run. I’d even wear these to brunch!

Sneakers aren’t just for running anymore.

If you’re looking for a gift for the mamas in your life, head online to Kohls.com and snag a pair for the girl who makes your world go round!

Take it from me, moms love gifts that are both functional and eye-catching.

I can’t wait to spend time with my boys this Mother’s Day. Maybe we’ll cook out in the backyard and play some freeze tag! Whatever we wind up doing, being active with my kids is creating such a special bond and it’s something I’ll do as long as my legs will carry me.

What special Mother’s Day traditions do you and your family engage in?
