Something that you may not know about me is that I just got fitted for contacts for the first time this past spring. I’ve always had 20/20 vision, but I noticed a change shortly after giving birth to my first child. I honestly didn’t really put a lot of thought into it at that point. I spend so much of my day in front of a phone or computer screen that I guess I didn’t realize how little I could see in the distance! It wasn’t until we began our trek from our previous home in Los Angeles to our current in Buffalo that I realized the road in front of me was not as clear as it should be. I couldn’t read street signs until I was right up on them, I was getting headaches around the same time each day from squinting so hard throughout the day, and I couldn’t read the channel guide on the hotel TV screens.
