Spiced Cranberry Sauce Recipe - The February Fox
Recently I used cranberries as decoration in an ice bath for drinks. Well I decided to repurpose them into cranberry sauce! For the past few years I’ve jarred my own, but something was missing. It’s such a polarizing dish and I think a lot of people are turned off by the bitter taste. This year I added a couple spices to the mix and it’s jaw-dropping good! We eat this on its own and with cheese, but I’ve recently found a dessert recipe for the leftovers that is so freaking good! I’ll share soon, but in the meantime, here’s this simple cranberry sauce recipe. Spiced Cranberry Sauce Ingredients 1 bag cranberries 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 1/2 c orange juice 2/3 c sugar 1/2 c water Few shakes of salt Directions Stir together in small saucepan over medium heat until boiling (about 15 minutes). Pour in Mason jar to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate. For those interested, Fox’s ribbed toddler set is from Lil Legs Baby.
