Industrial rustic. The sweet contradiction of hard metals and soft wood textures are a favorite of mine. I always envisioned myself living in a Chicago loft with exposed pipes and brick walls, filled with Edison bulbs and beaming with white accents all over.
I gathered a few inspiration images and went to town gathering items that look like they belong inside these photographs.
Lighting
Seating
Tables
Shelving
Art
Tabletop
All items handpicked above are from Dot & Bo, my current favorite place to find unique pieces that stand the test of time.

I love how industrial and rustic elements can completely transform a space, giving it character while still feeling modern. It makes me think about adding small, creative touches that make a design pop. For example, when I build LEGO displays at home, incorporating lighting really elevates the whole aesthetic. That’s one of the reasons I’ve been exploring light kits for lego. They let me highlight details, create mood, and bring a miniature scene to life, much like how the right fixtures and accents can bring warmth and personality to an industrial-rustic room.
