Happy 6 Months, Baby Fox! My baby is already half a year old this week.
Fox continues to amaze me every day with all of the new things he learns.
He answers to his name, loves bath time, puts himself to sleep in his own crib, and still loves to read, but we are most impressed with his eating skills! This little boy is already noshing on peaches, pears, prunes, bananas, sweet potatoes, squash, and oatmeal. He’s a total vacuum cleaner and doesn’t seem to care what it tastes like, he just opens his mouth wide and once the food is in he says, “Mmmmmm!”
One of my constant struggles as a work-at-home mom is that I sometimes feel like I’m not doing everything “just so,” so I give myself a couple attainable goals to set on top of my priority list. One of those things is that everyone eats together at dinner without the t.v.
So far Fox is loving his high chair. We bought him this adorable placemat that he can look at rather than toys and we’re doing our best to use this time as a way for him to learn who Papa, Mama, and Fox are.
Our little family is in total disbelief that it is August already. An email from Williams-Sonoma hit my inbox this past weekend letting me know about their brand new stock of pumpkin-themed items and I nearly hit the floor. We’re getting in as much time as possible before the summer ends. Here’s my husband and our little Goo at my brother- and sister-in-law’s pool this weekend. We don’t get up to Newport Beach nearly enough, but we always have so much fun when we do. It was our guy’s first time in a pool!

Do you have any plans for the last few weeks of summer?
XO, Sarabeth

Yes, baby fox has grown and developed so much over the last 6 months, and is such a joy to watch.
