I spent Thursday night in Downtown Los Angeles networking on the balcony of a building overlooking the Staples Center (I heard Katt Williams performed that night!) for an event hosted by Cupcakes & Cocktails. It’s just what it sounds like: cupcakes infused with cocktails. Do I have your attention yet?
Even though I swore off eating sweets (who does that right before a cupcake event?), I had to indulge this time around. There were red velvet cupcakes laced with Kruto Vodka, chocolate dipped strawberries, an absolutely insane banana pudding, and more. If you ever want brownie points with me, banana pudding, banana pie — it all works.
Cupcakes & Cocktails founder Brittney McCoy was kind enough to host the room of bloggers to talk about her business and sample her creations, coming all the way from Chicago to introduce us to her brand. She was inspired by the wine and paint parties that seem to be cropping up across the country to create cocktail-infused cupcakes that parties could decorate while celebrating birthdays, brides-to-be, and the likes. As soon as people started to taste her desserts, the orders started pouring in!

If you could come up with any cupcake/cocktail combo, what would it be?

Cupcakes are a favorite among kids, older or younger. You are my favorite because your recipes are easy to understand and easy to available from the market.
