The Best Tool to Help Busy Moms Get Things Done

February 15, 2020

This post is sponsored by Ingenuity™ but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

I’ve been blessed with two very active boys.

Neither one of my children have been the type of baby to be set down in a playpen to entertain themselves. They both prefer to be eye level and in the know to satiate their fear of missing out.

My youngest, Charlie, recently took his first step. He hasn’t started full-on walking quite yet, but that doesn’t stop him from getting into absolutely everything throughout our home. We’re at that stage where I can honestly say that the most exhausting part of my day is getting up and down chasing Charlie. To make a tricky situation even harder, our house isn’t compatible with baby gates, so there is simply no putting him down and taking eyes off of him, even for a moment.

I found that putting Charlie in his high chair for small breaks during the day helped me find a moment to drink a hot cup of coffee, put dishes away, or respond to an email or two. However, all of those tasks helped me in my kitchen and living room areas, but did not cover my downstairs workshop or the bedrooms upstairs.

We live in a split-level home, so it’s not always easy to carry a playpen or high chair up and down the stairs throughout the day when it’s just me and the kids. I got the Ingenuity™ Baby Base 2-in-1™ Seat a couple weeks ago and it’s been in use daily in our household ever since.

Not only can it be strapped to a chair but it can also be used on the ground, both with or without the tray. Speaking of the tray, it is washable and stores easily right inside the base. The seat is wipeable and comfortable for baby and the 3-point harness keeps baby safe and snug.

Charlie doesn’t feel restrained in his Ingenuity™ Baby Base 2-in-1™ Seat, especially when placed on the ground. He can reach toys that have fallen off his tray and touch the ground with his feet. It’s helped me get a lot more done throughout each day!

If you’re interested in getting one for yourself, all Ingenuity™ products are up to 15% off at Target through February 16th.

Let me know how your baby likes it!
