It should come as no surprise that I love creating. In fact, it’s the entire reason why I started this blog!
Over the years I’ve tried my hand at scrapbooking, jewelry making, woodworking — you name it, I’ve probably tried it! I often felt like something was missing. My projects tended to come up a bit on the messy side or they took too much time to create.
When I discovered the Cricut Explore Air 2, it was a total game-changer.
From the outside looking in, I wasn’t totally sold on just how much I could do with it. It wasn’t until I dipped my toe into Cricut Design Space that I learned the possibilities.
Today, I’ll be sharing with you the top 5 reasons I love my Cricut Explore Air 2.
Personalize It
You can add a name to anything, whether it’s a place card, swing tag, lunch box, or backpack. Don’t need to add a name? Organize your bins and jars with vinyl lettering so you know what’s inside!
Add Some Embellishment
Do you have a family member who really wants a gift card but you feel like it’s not “special” enough? You can personalize a gift card envelope to tuck your monetary gift inside that shows the recipient how much you care about making them feel special.
Save Money
Last year I bought all of the decorations for Fox’s birthday. I spent over $100 and they promptly got thrown in the trash. It stung to see that kind of money get flushed down the drain. This year, I have my Cricut Explore Air 2 by my side to help with the decorations. I’ll be making banners, cupcake toppers, tabletop decor, and even personalized shirts! The opportunities are endless and I will save so much money in the process. Plus, I can be sure to design items that can be reused in our home after the party is done.
Time-Friendly
I am not a graphic designer by nature, so the Cricut Design Space is perfect to shave off unnecessary hours from pulling a project together. Simply search for a project or image you’d like to execute and get to work! On top of that, the Air 2 can cut and write up to 2x faster than previous models!
Family Fun
My oldest son, Fox, gives me some of the best ideas to execute with my Air 2. This time he requested a snowball fight bucket! Fox was also the one who suggested I make something Star Wars-themed for our movie marathon to celebrate the premier of the Rise of Skywalker.
