As you may know, Tyler, Fox and myself recently completed a two-week driving trip throughout the UK. This was Fox’s first trip overseas, and was an experience that we’ll never forget. Tyler always talks about how lucky he feels to be able to spend so much time with us, since we both work from home. It allows us to create our own schedule, and literally spend all day every day raising Fox together.
It’s my husband’s second year celebrating Father’s Day, and one thing that we’ve discussed is that even though we’re constantly capturing every moment together since Fox’s birth, it’s difficult to truly appreciate not only how much our little boy has grown up, but how much we’ve grown and experienced as a family.
This year, I found the perfect way to show Tyler how much we appreciate his ability to redefine the typical role as a father and also be able to cherish the memories we captured on our recent travels. I jumped onto Snapfish, uploaded a handful of some of our favorite photos together, and within a couple minutes I had the perfect Father’s Day gift en route to our house.
I started with a beautiful canvas print of a photo with a great backstory. Before our trip, I had explained extensively that I wanted a family photo in the middle of a field of flowers (as I had seen so many times from friends who visit or live in the UK). Near the end of our trip, we were leaving Malmesbury and spontaneously pulled off the roadway to nail this family photo. By the time we were back in the car we were covered in mud, the memory card was filled with missed shots, and nearly broken tripod. But it was all worth it.
I also got him a custom puzzle of a family photo when were in… wait for it… Puzzlewood. It was one of Tyler’s favorite locations on the trip (part because of the beauty and part because of it being a famous shooting location for Star Wars). The puzzle even came in a nifty tin that added to the value of the gift.
I topped off the presents with a small collection of photos of Tyler and Fox together (also through Snapfish) and even made a custom Father’s Day card that explained how lucky we were to have him in our lives.
If you’re looking for a special and unique gift for a father (or grandfather) that is special to you, be sure to check out the custom products over at my friends at Snapfish.
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

You are so creative! I would have never thought of that! My boys love puzzles and I know they would have liked giving this as a gift. Maybe I can still get his before Father’s Day. Congratulations on the move btw. Hope your next adventure brings lots of fun and success! xo
