This past weekend was a busy one. We packed the weekend with trips around town, museums and errands. But the cornerstone of our activities was a lovely party in downtown Los Angeles put on by LA Mamacitas.
We arrived at With Love Cafe for a lovely event to show off Daddy’s Home 2 – the new film starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg and the sequel to 2015’s excruciatingly funny Daddy’s Home. We had just enough time to re-watch the first film before the event – which itself has an all-star cast. John Lithgow and Mel Gibson join the crew as the fathers of Ferrell and Wahlberg, respectively, this time around.
I brought Tyler and Fox with me to the gorgeous gathering of bloggers, parents and kids to celebrate the movie and spend some quality time with friends – not to mention that we all were able to decorate absolutely delicious sugar cookies courtesy of Sugarcraft LA. They were on hand to take them as we finished decorating to package and tag them – except for Fox’s which were promptly eaten as he decorated them of course.
With Fox getting older and growing into a sweet little boy, it’s been such an enjoyable experience spending time with him at events like these. He’s made friends, follows directions and truly enjoys the activities that we are able to share with him.
