For my husband’s first couple Father’s Days, I thought gift giving was a breeze.

Now that we’ve been through an onslaught of holidays, I’m running out of things to personalize with our (albeit cute) baby’s face all over it.
This year, I wanted to get him a practical gift that was still plenty thoughtful and something he’d be able to use.
Since my husband recently left the work from home crew and joined an in-office team, he’s been commuting about 1/2 hour away to the Southtowns. He got himself a new car the day before he started his job and I happen to know that he enjoys the downtime between work and coming home to his family.
With increased auto usage comes plenty more messes, so I had the idea of putting together a car wash/cleaning kit for him to keep his new car nice and clean.
I snagged a bucket and filled it to the brim with spray bottles, rags, cleaning mitt, sponges, lubricant, tire scrubbers, and a variety of Refresh Your Car® vent clips, mini-diffusers, and plug-in air fresheners.
Refresh Your Car was kind enough to send me an entire box of their products, so I got to sample nearly every scent they carry. My personal favorite is Fresh Linen (now in my own car!), although Fresh Strawberry & Cool Lemonade™ and Lightning Bolt™ & Ice Storm™ were close runners-up.
I’m also a fan of the affordable price and discreet, clean appearance when added to the car.
Since he’s a huge fan of podcasts and audiobooks, I also got him a few credits for books that he can listen to along his journey and enjoy the ride.
