We’ve all spent a lot of time in my living room over the past year and, if you’re anything like me, you’re starting to look at the spaces in your home feeling like it’s time to switch things up.
I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg, so I decided to make some small changes to take my house to the next level: starting with the living room!
Each item I picked up was sourced from Joss & Main.
The throw pillows on my leather couch were the first items that needed some help.
I wasn’t feeling the color scheme and lack of texture, so I opted for a couple new pillows with ticking, linen, and leather accents.
Because I use so much gold in my decorating, I wanted to tone it down a bit with a different shade of metallic. Since dressing up a room doesn’t have to rely on functional decor pieces, I added a small pewter-colored table. Now a have a space for my morning coffee cup as well as my new plant friend, which I potted in this adorable planter.
Who here has a plant addiction? Because I have ten live plants and counting! Can’t stop, won’t stop.
My coffee table was looking a bit chaotic, so I polished it up by adding a plate beneath my trinkets and subbed in a candle that ties in the color of my vintage pouf and pillow in my living room.
Last but not least, I added pattern and texture to my bookshelf with this gorgeous vase. I might fill it with florals at some point, but for now, I’m really loving it all on its own. Vases and planters have quickly become one of my favorite items to decorate with. They’re both useful and fun!

What color are your walls? Have very similar room and furniture in new house and struggling to find the right color.
Where did you buy your carpet?
I just ordered the same sofa!
Seconding the question of the wall color! Can you share? 😍
