Happy National Donut Day!
What a welcome into June, right?!
We got a new donut place in town on Memorial Day, so we obviously had to do some major taste testing.
It’s called Peace, Love and Little Donuts (apparently a franchise found in quite a few major cities) and it’s basically the Cold Stone Creamery of fried dough. They fill a box with the number of donuts you’ve requested and then make each by hand right in front of you.
It goes without saying that we got a full dozen — hey, they’re little!
Best donut of the bunch shoutout goes to cherry pie, my favorite so far.
