It’s finally September, my absolute favorite month! This time of year marks the start of fall, a long Labor Day weekend, my birthday mid-month, and a trip to Nashville at the end of the month.
In true Sarabeth fashion, I have already set up my dining table with wooden pumpkins, a burlap runner, and fall foliage. When you live in SoCal and temperatures reach into the 90s, you need all the help you can get to get in the spirit! So, I’ve been combing through my Pinterest a lot lately to get more fall inspiration. Here are a few of my favorites.
Let’s start with the pumpkin and apple goodness that will be sure to fill my home over the next few months.
Pumpkin waffles, pumpkin pie pop tarts, apple fritters, and ravioli with pumpkin alfredo? Um, yes please!
Wash it all down with a crock pot pumpkin spice latte.
This stick letter tutorial is also catching my eye.
Now, do I stick with an M? Or do I get a little crazy and opt for a T, S, and F? I should probably brush the dust off my DIY skills with an M first. It’s times like these that I wish my last name started with an I.
I’ll be sure to stock up on pumpkins. Painting them gold sounds like such a neat and simple-to-do twist.
How amazing is this casual fall outfit?
Lucky for me, Nordstrom has some similar pieces to get the full look. Click the photos below if you’re interested!
My personal favorite fall item right now is the blanket scarf. Honestly, I’ve been using them more as blankets than scarves! They’re so soft and perfect to fold up and keep in the bottom of the stroller. It’s so nice to have them around just in case we decide to have an impromptu picnic or beach trip. Also a must for a quick outdoor diaper change on the grass!
They can also be used as tablecloths!
I plan to do this for Fox’s camping-themed first birthday party. You can get the blanket scarves for under $10 here. (Sidenote: Holly Mathis’ interior designs are ridiculous. So very pretty. Please check her out.)
You guys, I’m so, so, so, so, soooo excited that I get to relive these seasons with Fox. Every place we visit, every holiday, every little step of the way is like I’m experiencing it for the very first time. Taking Fox to the pumpkin patch, watching his papa and family play in the annual flag football Turkey Bowl game, watching the Macy’s Christmas Parade and walking down Christmas Card Lane to see the lights. Ugh! It makes me so happy I could just burst.
What are you most looking forward to this season?
