Valentine’s Gifts from the Heart

January 30, 2019

This post is sponsored by Snapfish but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have to admit that over the years my husband and I have forgotten a few Valentine’s Days.

My son’s birthday falls exactly one week before and it feels like as soon as the excitement dies down from his special day, we look at each other with a collective, “Oh no.”

Here’s the thing: I have fond memories of waking up on V-Day to a gift bag in bed as a kid — little toy, some candy, and one year a Barbie game for my Sega Genesis! Fox will be 4 this year and I know his memories of growing up will start to stick, so I made February 14th a priority this year for our whole family.

Here are my top picks for everyone on your list!

Baby

When Fox was born I bought him a personalized placemat with family members faces so he could learn who everyone was. We lived long distance from family at the time and it really helped to make him familiar with those we couldn’t be physically close to. I wanted to do the same with baby #2 this time around, but since we’re all local now I chose a cute alphabet design instead! Fox got a new one too which he loves using while eating and doing arts and crafts.

Kids

We recently did a bit of a room swap at our house and now Fox has his very own room, no longer sharing the nursery. With babies come monograms and personalized gifts galore, so I opted to add a little something to his room to make him feel special each time he crawls into bed: a sweet little dinosaur pillowcase emblazoned with his name.

Significant Other

Tyler spends a great deal of time at work and if we throw a text at each other during the day, there’s a good chance it’s about how much we miss our kiddo while he’s at school. I thought he’d love this paperweight for his desk to look at when he needs a dose of Fox and his larger than life personality!

Treat Yourself!

I did it. I bought myself a Valentine’s gift. How could I resist this adorable wood block desk calendar? I was able to hand select each photo for its corresponding month and know it will make me smile throughout the year.

All products above were created using Snapfish!

They’re budget-friendly, easy to use (I was able to import photos from Instagram and Facebook!), and I was able to personalize using tools like the embellishment, background, and layout sections. If you’re having trouble making a decision on what gifting route to take, simply check out the Builder tool.

Here’s my Valentine’s gift to you: use code “BEMINE40” for 40% off site wide, expires 2/28!

Happy Valentine’s Day, friend!
