Gift giving is my specialty, but when it comes to anniversaries and Valentine’s Day I admit that I have to demonstrate a lot more effort than usual. Any gift that’s given from the heart is special to my husband, but DIY usually winds up costing a similar price than a practical item that I know he’ll use. I cringe when I see men getting pink heart stuffed pillows with “I love you” scrawled across the front, knowing that no matter how much he loves his lady I can still almost guarantee he hates those horrible gifts. I’m sure spring cleaning sends a lot of these items to the thrift shop where they will never see the light of day again!
This year I’ve rounded up a few classics that are too cool not to get your guy. A few of these items are gifts I have given to Tyler that he has used time and time again, including a gold version of the watch I gifted Tyler on our wedding day as a nod to Buffalo ’66 (a movie about my hometown) and “spanning time together.”
He gets compliments on his watch several times a week to this day (3+ years later)!
1. Bottle Cap Display // 2. Turntable // 3. Book (Similar here) // 4. Watch // 5. Duffel // 6. Tie // 7. Travel Kit
I’ll be putting together a women’s roundup over the next several days with items that I’d love to receive for Valentine’s Day. What gifts are you hoping for this year?
