Thank you Maxi-Cosi for sponsoring this post. Keep your little adventurers comfy, safe & stylish with the Maxi-Cosi Magellan 5-in-1 car seat!
Without any exaggeration, my husband and I get at least two comments a week from strangers telling us to sign Fox up for track team.
We certainly have a wild child.
Although he doesn’t like to be fenced in, Fox’s sense of wonderment transcends the playground and moves on to bigger and better adventures.
Our kid loves a good road trip.
We’ve been lucky enough to travel with Fox all over the world, but the one thing that remains constant is that each trip we plan is heavily rooted in heading out on the road.
He’s seen castles and abbeys in England, Wales, and Scotland, stood under waterfalls in Iceland, and visited his neighbors up north in Canada. Most recently I took a solo trip with Fox from Los Angeles to Buffalo, which I’ll admit was terrifying for me to wrap my head around, but there were zero tears shed (from me or Fox!) which is more than I could say about a normal day around my house.
He truly loves being on the road and exploring new places.
A huge part of his happiness while traveling is making sure he’s comfortable. In the past, he’s complained about the fit or comfort of his car seat after a couple hours into a road trip. But we recently switched over to the Maxi-Cosi Magellan 5-in-1 Convertible Car Seat for our day-to-day trips and our extensive journeys alike. Even at 3, Fox still has years to grow into his new seat as it accommodates to fit children up to age 10 with five modes of use (Fox is right in the middle of the “Child Forward-Facing” mode).
What makes the trips more enjoyable is that Fox feels comforted by his seat. The Magellan wraps around him like no other child seat we’ve ever had. The patented Adjustable Side Impact Protection system provides maximum protection and hugs him comfortably.
Besides looking super sleek, the seat has a feature that I never knew I needed and now cannot live without: removable cup holders and removable washable fabrics. Keeping the car seat looking new and fresh is easier than ever.
To keep Fox happy, before every trip I pack a go-to bag for everything he’ll need (water, juice, fruit, snacks, coloring supplies, toys, etc). He stays comfortable, content, and happy, and we can focus on singalongs and road games to keep his mind stimulated on our adventures.
